Code with Ross

Code with Ross is a website dedicated to helping aspiring developers improve their coding & development skills.
Entirely built by me using NextJS as the frontend framework.

Providing excellent resources which developers can use to level their code, guides on how you should approach your code and how to earn more money as a developer.

Coupled with YouTube videos to showcase complex ideas and break them down to the absolute essentials and show what you can build in approximately 5 minutes, with zero steps skipped.

The NextJS frontend uses a custom ReactJS template to provide a quality user experience, excellent SEO performance and fast loading.

The WordPress CMS handles the non-static content e.g. blog posts, providing them via a custom WordPress API, rendered by the frontend.

The Laravel API handles notifications, authentication, email and background tasks.

The Mighty Roar

The Mighty Roar asked me to build a fully fledged custom built admin & customer control panel.
Entirely built by me using Laravel as the supporting PHP framework.

From start to finish, the project took around 6 months to complete in its entirety, completed on a fixed price budget and delivered on time and on budget.

Ongoing support is given to this day with the occasional new feature added.

The Product

The admin section is a fully fledged control panel for the team at The Mighty Roar to manage customers and to focus on the experience and not the arduous administration tasks.

The primary task was to automate as much as possible and to streamline the manual jobs into a process list so the team can tick off the manual tasks with ease.
